At the end of the Spice renaissance Era, Two Pangalactic entities revealed themselves to the city and to the world. The Emperor and the Dominatrix. Together they Expanded the reach of simulated persons to the stars. Creating the first Empire.

Both entities having their own agendas beyond the growth of Simulated society, it came to a point when the Dominatrix negotiated for her own population to lead to greatness and was granted some border systems by the Emperor. The Dominatrix sees the Female gender as the most promising splinter of Computer Generated Teran Genomes to successfully achieve Parthenogenesis and consequently become its own seperate species. Her Amazons have been working towards that goal since they were granted independance from the Empire.

Technology and warfare

The Hive is the least technologically advanced of the 3 Kingdoms and only a few systems more vast than the Terran Conglomerate. They however lead the research in two fieds: Genetic Manipulation, Energy storage.

The military strength of the Hive varies depending on the need. Amazons will reallocate the production of their worker cloning facilities to create Soldier type clones when the need arises. The same is true of their industry, which will change focus to building armor, weapons and naval warfare components instead of consumer goods almost at the flip of a switch.

Reproduction

Natural reproduction on New Habsburg is the fastest in all of the Blooperverse for simulated persons. Females born on the Hive Capital world achieve Physical maturity in 706 Local Days on average. Males born on the same planet are not only outnumbered 40:1, they also age at a more natural pace, achieving Physical maturity around the age of 16 to 19 Local Years. Adulthood is granted at 2 years of age for Females and 18 years of age for males. Their natural lifspan is thought to be the same as other simulated persons on other systems of the Blooperverse.

But the most common type of reproduction for the Hive is cloning. A worker Clone requires needs 7 weeks to print from the digital womb while a Soldier clone need 9. A Soldier clone Those "deep copy" facilities, reproduce complex neural patterns from the original organically grown and battle trained clone. The natural lifespan of a clone is estimated to be 40 years but no record of a clone dying of old age exists. All clones are of the female genus, of course.

Citizenship

On a Hive world, females (excluding clones) can belong to any of the following social classes:
- Slave
- Worker
- Soldier (free or conscript)
- Breeder
- Warrior
- Scholar
- Mistress

On most hive worlds, males can be Slaves, Workers or Breeders. On New Habsburg, all locally born males are breeders. Clones Will typically be Workers or Soldiers (conscript) but some failed batches are put to slavery.

Breeders are a mix of local born and immigrants. Some of them especially males will be POWs who have seen the light of the Dominatrix and have been chosen by a Mistress to Add their seed to her lineage and eventually, one of her cloning facility's genepool.

Warriors and Scholars are Amazons who have shown the greatest potential for greatness amongst their peers either for military disciplines or science and technologies. Their achievements will bolster the Mistress' greatness and renown.

Mistresses are Nobles of the Amazon Hive, the daughters of the Dominatrix. By birth or by the sum of their achievements they are chosen by the Dominatrix to join a "circle".

One exception to the preceding hierarchy are the Praetorian guards. Even though the Dominatrix is immortal and virtually indestructible, an attempt to disturb her glorious rule by forceful intrusion into her palace would be a considerable nuisance and an insult to her greatness. Praetorian Guards are daughters of the Dominatrix who do not bother themselves with the politics and administration of the Hive beyond what goes on in the palace. Most of them are chosen for their loyalty and martial prowess, others are chosen as a reward for outsdanding service and some... Simply out of love.

Politics

The Hive government structure places the Dominatrix as the highest level of authority, bellow her are the various circles. Each circle has authority over a sector of space or one aspect of Amazon life. Members of a circle report to their circle's Matriarch. Matriarchs are Mistresses of the higher circle. These Mistresses answer directly to the Dominatrix and are usually welcome to her palace with the greatest hospitality.

Nationalism

"Praise the Dominatrix!", "Thank the Dominatrix!" are heard on the street on a dayly basis. The amazons adore their Ruler/Deity. Even the slaves and prisoniers develop a form of loyalty to their divine captor. The main ingredient to this loyalty is the "Scent of the Goddess". By drinking the blood of the Dominatrix a Mistress will rappidly start to secrete pheromones to which most men, clones and many amazons are sensitive to. These pheromones inspire a desire to please a Mistress by obedience and if they are so lucky... Sexually.

The longer an individual is exposed to the pheromones, the stronger the bond to that specific mistress. Praetorian guards who spend most of their time at the palace are so closely exposed to the Dominatrix's own scent that they quickly become impervious to the influence of other Mistresses.

Some mistresses who have been blessed by the Dominatrix and received her blood on multiple occasions have the strongest scent. On the other hand, those who spend too long without drinking her blessings slowly loose it's potency.
